Bio
Janet Garlikov is a multi-media painter that currently lives and works in Dayton, Ohio.
She is a self-taught artist with a diverse history that informs her current studio practice as a painter. She has experience in graphic communication, traditional black and white photography, quilting, drawing, and faux finishing. She has completed the Ohio State Master Gardener Program, as well as a variety of intensive Faux finishing courses. These programs led her to her furthered commitment to gardening, as well as several faux finishing commission works that include an impressive on-site mural for the Anshe Emeth temple in Piqua, Ohio.

Janet currently spends much of her time at her home studio, while also very active in the contemporary Dayton arts scene. She has shown her work at a variety of venues around the region, including Dayton Contemporary, Dayton Society of Artists, The Orphanage Gallery, Front Street Studios, and The Color of Energy Gallery.
